This is about 1.1.0 firmware for GP2X Wiz.
Never apply it to F100 or F200. If so, it shall be provided A/S of no free of charge.

Updated contents of Wiz firmware 1.1.0
1. Stabilization of NAND memory
Errors occurred during file transmission are removed by altering file system.
*In this reason, booting time takes a little longer, and NAND memory is initialized therefore you are required to make backup of necessary data before you start to upgrade firmware.
2. Improvement of flash engine
The performance is improved in general, especially for the contents included with Font is largely improved in its speed.
3. Added pop-ups for simultaneous working
During listening music, if you want to read book or to see photograph or cartoon book, it moved directly to select key without displaying screen in existing version, however in this new version you can select to which menu you want to move by creating separate pop-up windows.
4. Reinforced hold function of music player
Added function is that if it becomes Hold Mode by switching upward of power button during music play then the screen turns off automatically. If hold function is released then the screen turns on again.
5. Changed display method of equipment information
Menu program and firmware version are displayed separately.Presently menu program is v1.1.0, and firmware is revision 222.
6. Improvement of functions
-Image sequence is displayed on upper right side of photograph/cartoon book viewer (Presently/whole)
-Added control function of font size in electronic book viewer.
-Lock icon is displayed on upper part of main screen in Hold Mode.

How to upgrade firmware

*Check whether the equipment is Wiz before you start to update firmware. Any problem arisen out of that you do not observe above may not apply to free A/S. |
1. Decompress the downloaded file and make it copy to upper root folder of SD card. (6 Files – polluxb, uImage, uImageUP, update.gz, vfat.img, wiz_ubifs.img)
*Decompressed size is about 800MB, therefore SD card should have extra 1 GB size memory.
2. Insert SD card and switch on with R button pressed and then the firmware is being updated.
3. If firmware upgrade screen appears then release R button
4. It takes about 15 minutes to upgrade.
5. If firmware has been properly updated then reboot it. Set value of touch panel is initialized by the update therefore revise the setting value of touch panel in environment setting.
6. If you see following message, try it again by switching off and on. If you have still same problem then try it again by replacing SD card.
7. If all completed, delete those files copied to SD memory.
※ If battery discharges during upgrading firmware, it may cause damage to product. Therefore battery must be fully charged or secure stable electric power using USB cable before start to upgrade firmware.
※ Some pictures on the screen may be broken during patching firmware.
It will output normally after completion of patching.
